Partnering for Performers: Developing Stronger Duet Skills with Emily

Have you ever had the perfect idea for a number only to realize you needed a partner to pull it off? Does the idea of sharing a stage with another person make you nervous? In this class, Emily, a ballroom dancer instructor and burlesque performer, will teach you the basics of connecting with a dance partner. We will cover exercises to develop your non-verbal listening skills, and connect with another person for dancing, along with choreography considerations for partners and groups. No partner for class is needed. Students will partner with their classmates. No experience is needed with partner dance styles. 60 min class
